At the beginning of the year, the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology of UVT, through the Department of Educational Sciences, proposes an event that has already become a tradition. The 10th edition of the "18 for Education" debates brings, between January 22-2020, XNUMX, a series of online workshops, dedicated to pre-university teachers.
With the aim of laying the foundations of learning communities of reflective practitioners, which generate innovative solutions to improve the didactic act and didactic performance, the organizers propose a model of collaboration with the pre-university educational environment, through 10 workshops, 10 current topics, 10 discussion forums, 10 questions and dozens of solutions.
Among the themes that will be debated in this edition, we mention "Prevention and management of counter-aggressive behaviors in the class of students", "Aspects of the adult-child relationship during early education", "Practical-applicative elements of inclusive education in primary education" , "Special education in the pandemic as an opportunity to reinvent educational and therapeutic practices", "Educational futures - preparing the educable for the future", "Methods for active learning of democratic citizenship competence", "Dialogical circles: Applications in educational communities", " Education in the pandemic. A cure for loneliness: Transdisciplinarity as a promise", "Pedagogical use and integration of open educational resources in teaching activity", "Online primary education - challenges and competences".
Participating teachers will benefit from the opportunity to get to know each other, collaborate and form collaboration and professional development networks in current educational topics. The workshop-forum format allows an exchange of information between participants, debates, reflections on possible reconsiderations of the didactic activity, all workshops being supported by teachers, lecturers, university lecturers and practitioners with demonstrated skills in the field.
Through this event, the organizers together with the participants try to reach a common understanding of the problems in the educational environment and a complementary approach on the part of university and pre-university teachers.
