Aspirants to university studies can officially start the admission process at the Western University of Timișoara (UVT), through online platform specially created to make the registration of candidates as easy as possible: admitareonline.uvt.ro. 

All information about the admission process and the opportunities that UVT offers are available on the UVT website dedicated to the admission process - admission.uvt.ro. Until the first part of July 2023, candidates will be able to fill information and upload documents on the application platform. The registration process takes place online, and the documents must be presented by the candidates to the admission centers, for their certification according to the original, by scanning by UVT representatives. The steps that candidates must follow in the application process are available HERE.

The UVT offer consists of 79 undergraduate programs and 92 master's degree programsin 34 fields of study. Places available in the UVT university study programs for this year's admission process are available HERE. For the 2023-2024 academic year, UVT is offering over 6000 places to undergraduate university study programs, of which 2375 are financed from the state budget, respectively over 4500 places to master's university study programs, 1400 of which are financed from the state budget.

This year, the offer of bachelor's degree programs from UVT were added 6 new programs, authorized to operate provisionally:

• European and international law (bilingual Romanian-English) (Faculty of Law),
• Romanian language and literature – Modern language and literature (Russian/Serbian/Japanese),
• English Language and Literature – Modern Language and Literature (Russian/Serbian/Japanese) (Faculty of Letters, History and Theology),
• Informatics (form of distance education) (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics),
• Psychology – Cognitive Sciences (in English) (Faculty of Sociology and Psychology),
• Security Studies (Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences.

At the same time, at the level the master's university study cycle, were included in the fields of accredited studies 5 new study programs:

• Business management in a European context (in French, part-time education) (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Management field),
• Advance research methods in physics (Faculty of Physics, Physics field),
• Intelligent software robotics (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, field of Informatics),
• Cybersecurity (Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, field of Informatics),
• Specific therapies of language and communication (Faculty of Sociology and Psychology, field of Educational Sciences). 

For all university degree programs within the UVT, the admission process requires the support of a admission tests, in physical format, at the UVT headquarters or at the UVT faculties headquarters, either for testing knowledge / skills related to the chosen field of study and cognitive abilities, or type one test of assessment of language skills and reasoning. All candidates will have to present all the documents necessary for the admission process, in accordance with the provisions of the regulations on the organization and conduct of the admission process developed by the UVT faculties, in original or legalized copies, until at least one day before the date of displaying the lists of candidates admitted, according to the calendar established by the regulations of the UVT faculties regarding the organization and conduct of the admission process, at the points of collection of admission documents from the UVT headquarters or from the county admission centers organized by the UVT, for their scanning and certification according to the original by the UVT operators . Candidates who do not fulfill this provision will not be included in the ranking of the admission process.
