The Western University of Timişoara, the most important comprehensive university in western Romania, opens on July 4 the admission process for summer 2022. At the web address https://admitere.uvt.ro/ the complete information about the 11 faculties and the Department for the Training of Teaching Staff, about the more than 160 bachelor's or master's study programs offered to national and international European students, but also to Romanian students from everywhere, is structured.
This year, for the first time, for admission to the faculties of the Western University of Timișoara, candidates will take a general knowledge test, an innovation that will have the role of setting a value hierarchy useful for the evolution of the university training of future students.
The number of places remains in 2022 at the same level as last year, and the online platform is open, providing accurate data about the admission schedule and conditions. The period of the admission process at the Western University of Timișoara is July 4-29, 2022, in the summer session, and the autumn session will open immediately after the beginning of September. As every year, several registration centers will be opened for the 2022 admission, both at the UVT headquarters in Timișoara and in all the counties in the region.
UVT rector, Marilen Gabriel Pirtea: "After two difficult years, with complicated stages, caused by the pandemic, this summer the success rate in the baccalaureate exam increased by 5,5% for all promotions, being the highest in the last 10 years. We thus return to an optimistic scenario, and expect a summer session of admissions in which candidates will find the choice that will give them the most professional guarantees, through which they will achieve the best version of themselves, at finishing the faculty, as the exhortation by which we are known nationally and internationally says: Become Your Best!".
