A new exciting event called Timișoara Ideas Fest - "Littérature et justice" - will have Alexandre Gefen as a special guest.
Director of Studies at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), Department Theory and History of Modern Arts and Literatures, Professor at the Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3, Alexandre Gefen is a historian of ideas and literature and author, among others, of the volumes "Territoires from non-fiction", Brill, 2020, "Best-sellers. L'industrie du succès", Armand Colin, 2021 (in collaboration with Olivier Bessard-Banquy and Sylvie Ducas), "L'idée de littérature. De l'art pour l'art aux écritures d'intervention", Corti, 2021; La littérature est une affaire politique", L'Observatoire, 2022.
Our host for this evening will be Mr. Vasile Popovici, who will guide the discussions full of substance. The conference will be translated into Romanian, so that all participants can enjoy this experience.
"Timișoara Ideas Fest" is a large-scale project, dedicated to ideas and people who inspire communities.
The event is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is financed by the program Inside Timișoara 2023, run by the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture and co-financed by the Timiș County Council, through the TimCultura 2023 program.
