West University of Timişoara invites you on Wednesday, November 23, starting at 13:00 p.m., to the event "Break the Wall: Debates with high school students", which aims to give voice to young people and teach them to critically approach important issues for the community and for them. The high school students involved will have at their disposal a practical case on the basis of which they will debate.
This time, the chosen theme is: "States must be held accountable for climate change that leads to the violation of the rights of people under their jurisdiction." Each team will consist of 3 members and will present a plea of 20 minutes/team, to which 5 minutes/team will be added for reply and rejoinder respectively.
The debate will take place at the Victoria Cinema, Ciprian Porumbescu Street, no. 2.
The event is part of the cultural program "At UVT, Culture is Capital", included in the Cultural Program "Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture", Oameni territory, Reflectiţii station, financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center, co-financed by the Timiș County Council.
