Career Counseling and Guidance Center (CCOC) team within West University of Timisoara (UVT) is pleased to invite students from all over the country to a new series of webinars dedicated to personal development this school year!
Through this training program, we want to offer support in shaping the process of self-knowledge, through topics such as personal interests and values, identifying and understanding emotions, organizing and prioritizing time and other topics that refer to the effective management of one's own resources.
Many students will soon have to decide which career path suits them best, in line with their professional interests, and in order for this decision to be optimal, assumed and informed, they need to be aware of their personal characteristics, of their own skills and desires. Simply put, in order to make a suitable decision for the future career, everyone needs to know themselves as well as possible, which is why The UVT Career Counseling and Guidance Center he prepared a series of 8 webinars, according to the schedule below:

This webinar proposes an analysis of our unique way of being, our qualities, values and resources, as well as their importance in the process of personal development.

This webinar aims to provide students with information on personal beliefs, what types they are, and how they influence decision-making in everyday life.
Personal confidence and self-esteem - May 4, 2022, 16:00 p.m
Through this webinar, students can discover the factors that influence self-esteem, the types of self-esteem and what it means to trust one's own resources.
The ABC from high school to university – May 11, 2022, 16:00 p.m
Through this webinar, we aim to provide support in the process of discovering vocational skills and interests, but also in exploring the steps necessary for the transition from high school to university.
Effective learning methods – May 18, 2022, 16:00 p.m
In this webinar, students will learn how to adopt a positive attitude towards the learning process, what are the factors that facilitate the accumulation of new knowledge, but also details about learning styles and effective strategies in the elaboration and organization of information.
Time: enemy or friend? – May 25, 2022, 16:00 p.m
Through this webinar we aim to support students to become more efficient and productive, by developing a set of useful habits, skills, systems and principles to effectively manage the time spent on specific activities.
Managing stress before BAC - June 8, 2022, 16:00 a.m
Graduating high school and moving on to the next educational stage comes with taking the baccalaureate exam, a moment that brings with it a series of worries, pressures and fears. Even though we cannot eliminate stress from our lives, through this webinar we will teach students how to manage it so that it decreases and prevents it from damaging their health, relationships and performance.
Choosing the right university study program - June 29, 2022, 16:00 a.m
Through this webinar, we want to support students in the process of identifying university study programs suitable both to their professional values and interests, as well as to the type of personality they have, but also to build together the necessary decision-making steps for an assumed and informed choice.

To participate in this program, we invite all interested students to complete the following REGISTRATION FORM, where topics of interest can be indicated.
West University of Timișoara (UVT) wants to support students in successfully managing the learning process for the baccalaureate exam and the entrance exam for the desired university study program, as well as to choose responsibly and informed the optimal career path for each of them by enrolling in a study program suitable university.
Starting from April 2022, UVT offers students from all over the country a complex training program. In addition to the webinars dedicated to their personal development, students can also participate in a preparation program for the baccalaureate exam, online, for each discipline, as well as a series of competitions dedicated to students, in all areas of UVT studies.
UVT also makes available to students YTM platform, through which they can complete psychovocational orientation tests for free, with the aim of supporting them in the process of choosing their future educational path. After passing these tests, any student can request a counseling session with one of the CCOC-UVT counselors, by email to ccoc@e-uvt.ro. More details, HERE.
