In the middle of July, the spectacular events of the Graduation Ceremony dedicated to the 2023 UVT Promotion took place. In Piața Libertății in Timișoara, the opening of the program of this true celebration of those who are among the 2023 UVT graduates took place, presented by the actors of the Timișoara theater scene Diana Niță and Matei Chiuariu, a festivity with special events, offered to the Timișoara community.

The series of events on this special day was organized by UVT with the support of its partners: ATOS, BCR, BOSCH, CONTINENTAL AUTOMOTIVE, EVIDEN, FLEX, FORVIA – HELLA, IULIUS TOWN, MEDICI'S, NOKIA, SENNEVILLE, UNICREDIT BANK, VITAS, ZF.

The opening ceremony was attended by over two thousand students of the UVT 2023 Promotion, with representatives of the UVT management teams and faculties, leaders of student organizations, departmental managers from the university as well as special guests and institutional partners of UVT . In the time interval 11-13, the program of the event included the preamble of the opening, marked with an artistic moment organized by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, the official opening of the Graduation Ceremony and the message of the Rector of UVT, prof.univ.dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, and then the awarding of the promotion chiefs and the emotional moment of throwing the heels, but also a memorable mini-concert offered by the students of the Faculty of Music and Theatre. On behalf of the 2023 UVT graduation, the heads of the graduation, student Antonia-Laura Pup, from the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, and student Filip Sebeșan, from the Faculty of Music and Theater, sent messages from this year's generation of graduates. In the final musical sequence, the students performed Maria Boldan, performing the song "Muzica" (composer George Grigoriu), Anamaria Buturca, "Valurile Danubei", (composer Ion Ivanovici), Alexandru Ticula, "My Way" (composer Jack Revaux), Darius Gruiță and Alexandru Ticula, "Belle" (duet from the musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame, composer Ricardo Cocciante), and Hirsch David, Alexandru Ticula, Darius Gruita, canzoneta "O sole mio" (composer De Curtis, piano Filip Sebeșan).

The spectacular day of the graduation ceremony continued with the series of festive classes organized by each of the eleven faculties of UVT: the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology - in Libertății Square, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Sociology and Psychology - at the Timișoara Convention Center, the Faculty of Chemistry, Biology, Geography and the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics - in Rozelor Park, the Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences - in the Aula Magna UVT, the Faculty of Physics - in the A11 Amphitheater UVT, Faculty of Physical Education and Sports - in the UVT Ioan Mihai Amphitheater, Faculty of Arts and Design - at the UVT Attic Gallery.

The rector of UVT, prof. univ. dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea:

"Whatever will be tomorrow, starts today.

Your generation is a gifted, special generation, it is the generation that is today in the European Capital of Culture 2023. You are the generation of UVT graduates who embark on a professional and human path in a very special year, when the whole of Europe is looking towards Timișoara and when , from Timișoara, sends messages of culture to the whole of Europe.

As you know, "At UVT, Culture is Capital!" - and under this generic, four Nobel laureates, consummate people of culture and art, illustrious researchers and scientists, along with many other valuable personalities, have been invited to our university so far this year. You, the UVT 2023 generation, are participants in the events of this cultural year full of memorable meetings and, I hope, including your professional and human future will be in line with this special year.

The exceptional artist Constantin Brâncusi used to say: "Things are not difficult to do. It's hard to put yourself in the mood to do them."

In this spirit, I urge you, generation 2023, UVT graduates, to search tirelessly, from now on, and put yourself in the position to do the things you really want in life, profession, career and self-realization. You have all the arguments and resources, nothing will be difficult to do when you happily devote yourself to your passions.
