The Western University of Timisoara is always close to Romanian artistic values and the promotion of national culture. That is why we invite you to celebrate together the National Culture Day through an extraordinary concert of Romanian symphonic music, supported by the Orchestra of the Faculty of Music and Theatre, which will take place on Saturday, January 15, at 19:00, at the "Banatul" State Philharmonic " from Timisoara. The event will be broadcast live on TVR Timișoara and TVR 3 channels.
This royalty of Romanian symphonic music, offered to the people of Timișoara by the UVT, is also ennobled by the soloist presence of maestro Alexandru Tomescu, university lecturer at the Faculty of Music and Theatre, and the musical direction will be carried out by the university lecturer Sebastian Felea.
This concert took place for the first time on a highly symbolic day, Romania's National Day, in the capital of Italy, the country where one of the largest Romanian communities in the diaspora is located, in the prestigious "Petrassi" hall in the "Auditorium Parco della Musica".
