Timișoara Ideas Fest brings a spectacular conference, right during the Initiation Week at UVT! On Wednesday, September 27, starting at 17:00, in the Aula Magna UVT, Cristian Tudor Popescu meets with the young people of Timișoara for a captivating dialogue, "About manipulation in the press".

This is a topic of great importance these days, having a significant impact on how we understand and interpret the information that reaches us. Cristian Tudor Popescu, one of the most respected journalists and commentators in Romania, will talk to the young people of Timișoara about the ways in which we can recognize and counteract manipulation in the press.

The moderator of the event will be the talented Robert Șerban, who will guide the discussion and ensure a constructive exchange of ideas between Cristian Tudor Popescu and the audience present.

"Timișoara Ideas Fest" is a large-scale project, dedicated to ideas and people who inspire communities.

The event is part of the national cultural program "Timișoara - European Capital of Culture in 2023" and is financed by the program Inside Timișoara 2023, run by the Project Center of the Municipality of Timișoara, with amounts allocated from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Culture and co-financed by the Timiș County Council, through the TimCultura 2023 program.
