The Western University of Timișoara invites you to attend the opening of the exhibition on Wednesday, May 31, from 18 p.m., at the UVT Art Center (Oituz 4) "People among people", curated by the first-year master's students of the study program "Heritage, restoration and curation", with the participation of students and master's students from the specializations Painting, Graphics, Photo-Video, Sculpture and Ceramics.

Exhibiting artists are Alexandru Ștefănescu, Ana-Gabriela Purecel, Denisa Pasere, Flavius ​​Tiberiu Buzea, Giulia Andronache, Ioan Nasta, Maxim Zaghidullin, Noemi Beatrice Poleac Dekany, Raluca Micula, Rebeca Ulici, Tamás Borza, and the curatorial team consists of Cătălina Bogdan, Adrian Chermeleu, Alina Dărăban, Larisa Hârțaucă, Melissa Ivana, Ioana Radu, Crina Răstășanu. The coordinator of the event is Mrs. Maria Orosan-Telea.

The exhibition People between people started from the idea of ​​observing how the self-image and the image of the other can serve an articulate and reasoned discourse about human connections or alienations. The works of the students and master's students of the departments of painting, graphics, sculpture and photography are brought together, which reveal the concern for the figure and interiority of the human being. Alongside these, a series of conceptual works, which elude the actual presence of the face, speak of identity and otherness in a coded manner. Therefore, the exhibition proposes a curatorial approach related to the way the artist sees the world and especially the way he sees himself as an extremely intimate and at the same time penetrating revelation.
