Last weekend, a new edition of the University Swimming Championship took place in Bacău, the first after three years of interruption, in which almost 70 student athletes from 11 university centers in Romania participated.
The team of the West University of Timișoara, represented by Mera Raluca (FEFS, Bachelor. Year 2), Sandu Raluca (FEFS, Bachelor, year 3), Țocu Alina (FEFS, Bachelor, year 2), Bălaș Bianca (FLIT, Master, year 1), Ardelean Alex (FEFS, Master, year 1), Vaipan Radu (FEFS, Bachelor, year 3), Buzlea Sebastian (FEFS, Bachelor, year 1), Irinca Bogdan (FEFS, Bachelor, year 2), climbed the podium, taking second place.
