With the fall of the communist regime, 30 years after the resumption of classes and 87 years after the opening of the first art higher education institution in Timișoara, the Faculty of Arts and Design of the Western University of Timișoara is celebrating with exhibitions anniversaries dedicated to the general public.
In addition to the vernissages organized in galleries in Timișoara, the "UVT-Arte30" painting exhibition is also present in Paris, in the Amarica Gallery. Courtesy of Mr. Paul Amarica, it houses the same paintings made by prof. Dr. Cristian Sida and by the alumni of the Faculty of Arts and Design, Robert Koteles and Popa Laurian.
This exhibition affirms and confirms the quality of artistic education in Timisoara and emphasizes our slogan "At UVT, Culture is the Capital!".
The pandemic context determined the extension of the exhibition and the 2020 anniversary moment until the end of February 2021, thus offering, once again, the opportunity to visit the gallery.
