International Ocean Art Festival 2020

Between August 15-20, a new edition of the event took place International Ocean Art Festival 2020 whose theme Life – Ocean – National culture, resonates with the current concerns vis-a-vis the protection of the environment and which, by the number of participants, the diversity of the presentation materials and the means of artistic expression, can easily be considered an act awareness-raising or a higher-level approach that prompts not just mere contemplation and appreciation but action.

"The IOAF event represents an extraordinary opportunity for us and the younger generations to better understand the importance of protecting the Ocean as the foundation of life, to communicate and project through art and design the sad reality of now and, hopefully, a better reality of tomorrow. We are all facing a real paradigm shift in how we plan our future, sustainable development is becoming a worldview and I wish and hope that the next editions of IOAF will be at the center of passionate and conscious artists from around the world.” - lect. university Dr. Alexandru BUNII – associate curator of the international event IOAF 2020, South Korea.
