As part of the development partnership that UVT carries out with Hella Electronics Romania, a strategic investor in the electronics industry for automotive production, UVT announces the completion of the project to equip a university innovation laboratory, named Hella UVT laboratory. In this new laboratory, students and researchers have access to a computerized testing network, consisting of 25 compact all-in-one systems, configured in a platform for the implementation of future research-development-innovation projects.
The inauguration event was attended by: Mr. Adrian Firu - HELLA Romania General Manager, Mrs. Diana Țăpîrdea - Training & Development Manager, Mrs. Narcisa Mădăras - HELLA Romania Head of Engineering Excellence and of Global Software House, Mrs. Nicoleta Tudor - HELLA Romania Branding and Communication Manager and Mr. Alexandru Toma – Software Test Team Leader and computer-science mentor, together with UVT representatives, prof. dr. Flavia Mirela Barna, vice-chancellor of the Western University of Timișoara, prof. dr. Dana Petcu, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of UVT, but also by other UVT academics and students.
