The launch of a new issue of the student magazine "Literacum" and a new debate within the "Literacum" Workshop at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology

Student Research Center Literally (www.literacum.ro) from the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology launched on December 16 this year the new issue, double: 9-10, of the magazine "Literacum", ISSN and ISSN-L 2360-3194 (https://www.literacum.ro/revista-literacum/). Under the general coordination of the university conf. Dr. Pompiliu Crăciunescu, the initiator of the Student Colloquium Literally (2011) and CSCL(2014), having them as editors for this issue on asst. university Dr. Irina Dincă, assistant. university Dr. Roxana Rogobete and student Mihaela-Oana Gogoșeanu (XNUMXrd year, Romanian-French), the magazine brings together the works of the XNUMXth edition of the Colloquium Literally: Ion Creangă – ID Sîrbu.

In short, Literally it means today, in the full age of the reign of quantity, a privileged space, where the exceptional literate students from Timișoara collaborate fully to illuminate the axiological lines of force of our literature. Initially conceived as a propaedeutic for national profile meetings, the colloquium soon proved to be much more than that: the first edition already meant the germination space of an authentic agora where elite student spirits could interact and assert themselves as such. That's how it came into being Student Research Center Literally. Benefiting from a varied intellectual contribution, as its members come from all levels of study, this center has increased year by year: the colloquium, assumed in the meantime, was added, in extension of the periodic debates, an online magazine, "Literacum" , and not a few of the participants in this vast enterprise became laureates of the most prominent national student colloquia. Thus, also this autumn the members of the Student Research Center Literally they obtained important prizes at the national student colloquiums in Sibiu, Iași, Bucharest.

Bringing together two writers with distinct cultural paths, Ion Creangă and ID Sîrbu, in The word of welcome Mihaela-Oana Gogoșeanu argues the elections for the XNUMXth edition of the Student Colloquium Literally (held in November 2019): "we wanted to bring together on the one hand a well-known name, belonging to the Romanian literary canon, and on the other hand, a lesser known one, but who enjoys the same refinement of literary art, in the framework of which playfulness and lucidity intertwine. Also, the colloquium represented the perfect opportunity to celebrate 100 years since the birth of Ion Desideriu Sârbu." The current issue of the student magazine "Literacum" brings together some of these incursions. Bold, the most, or polite, the least, the texts reflect, above all, the seriousness of involvement in the critical act. Secondly, and equally important, they are distinguished by the academic garb of expression; finally - no less important, well, on the contrary! -, the works reveal insight and refinement, good mastery of the researched work and correct adequacy of the bibliographic resources to it. Among the participants in the colloquium, the following contributed to this number: Mihaela-Oana Gogoșeanu, Faces of the carnivalesque: Creangă-Rabelais, Patricia Ciurdar, Laziness and its attributes in Ion Creangă's stories, Claudiu Gerasim, Metamorphoses of the devil in Ion Creangă, Gianina Ciupuliga, About the pedagogical value of Creangă's writings, Paula Peres, Feminine typologies in Ion Creangă's prose, Raul Săran, Between desacralization and hedonism – post-communist critical views on "corrosive" stories, Alexandru Foitoș, At a milestone, by ID Sîrbu: typologies of conflict, Emilia Merce, Worlds in (un)making in the theater of Sîrbu and Blaga, Adela Chindriș, The dystopian universe in the story Mouse B, Alina Dumitrescu, Identity crisis and gender conflict in the theater of ID Sîrbu, Rebeca Murgu, The magical topography of the Petrine mine, Melissa Mocris, Human typologies in Mouse B and other stories, Alexandru Lazea, The architecture of solitude.
