Organized every year, the University Cup is a university sports competition that aims to stimulate the practice of sports activities, especially outdoors, as well as to improve the level of theoretical training of students in physical education and sports.
The competition is held within the University Consortium between the faculties of Physical Education and Sport from the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University in Iași, the West University in Timișoara and the "Babeș-Bolyai" University in Cluj-Napoca, this year's host.
Competition events included 3×3 Basketball, Swimming and Physical Education and Sports Theory.
