The West University of Timișoara announces the launch, for the first time nationally, of a new postgraduate course at the Faculty of Arts and Design, within the field "Event Photo & Video". The course is exclusively aimed at professionals who already carry out activities in the field of photo and video, and its theoretical and practical components are focused on integration into the artistic standards of the field, being updated with the latest applicable technological developments and also with the current requirements on labor market.
We invite all those who are passionate about photo and video art and are motivated to develop their professional career in this field to enroll in this postgraduate course. Graduates with a bachelor's degree from university study programs specializing in photo-video or people who already hold a university qualification and are working in the field, following a professional reorientation, so that they have accumulated demonstrable practical experience, are expected to participate in the admission. a portfolio presented to the admission committee.
The "Event Photo & Video" postgraduate course is intensive and runs for 9 weeks, with activities only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting on May 6, 2022. Graduates receive a graduation diploma issued by the Ministry of Education.
"The initiative started from the observation that the media market is in a continuous expansion and diversification, and communication through static and moving images is starting to become dominant on all channels and supports. Indeed, public or personal events happen constantly, but they pass quickly and inevitably dissolve into oblivion if we do not help them to remain in memory through images. More and more organizations and private beneficiaries are getting over the excitement induced by the highly accessible technology and understand that they still need the services of "Event Photo & Video" specialists. Demand in the field is growing rapidly because, when they do their job well, these professionals become enemies of oblivion through the specialized photo and video products they create.
