We have the honor and the great joy of inviting you to participate in the ceremony dedicated to awarding the title of Honorary Citizen of the Municipality of Timișoara to Mr. Daniel Vighi, professor, prose writer and famous essayist of the Timișoara community. The moment will take place on Thursday, November 24 at 16,00:01 p.m., in the A4 Amphitheater in UVT (V. Pârvan no. XNUMX).
Daniel Vighi is a prose writer from the literary generation of the 80s and an essayist. He was a professor of contemporary Romanian literature at the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology of the West University in Timisoara.
The event will be attended by the rector of UVT, prof. Dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, the mayor of Timișoara, Mr. Dominic Fritz, dean of the Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, prof. Dr. Loredana Pungă, colleagues from UVT and members of the Timișoara Society, local councilors and guests from the community. The Laudatio message will be expressed by the journalist and essayist Melania Cincea.
