The Western University of Timișoara implements a research project in the field of digitization within an international strategic partnership, consisting of six partners, located in five European states: Exeter and Stirling (UK) in the West, Bilbao (SP) and Milan (IT) in South, Magdeburg (GE) in the Center and Timișoara (RO) in the East, through UVT (ESCALATE 2019-1-RO01-KA203-063214).
Between June 23 and 25, 2021, UVT coordinated as Lead Partner an intensive online training program, focused on the rapid and appropriate response of national education systems to the challenges generated by digitization.
During the three days of training, the focus was on supporting universities in designing and implementing activities and policies aimed at increasing the level of digital skills for employability, in response to the increasingly varied range of jobs generated by the digital economy.
The sessions explored innovative and emerging practices in understanding and responding to digitization, both at the university level and at the level of local and regional policies.
