The Western University of Timișoara marks the end of the project implementation period "Your future in entrepreneurship - solution for a successful career", by holding a conference on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Implemented between January 2022 and December 2023, the "Your future in entrepreneurship - solution for a successful career" project, ID 142048, is co-financed from the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020 within the call for Innotech Student projects, Priority Axis 6 - Education and skills, Investment Priority 10.iv: Increasing the relevance of education and training systems on the labor market, facilitating the transition from education to the labor market and strengthening training and vocational training systems, as well as their quality, including through skills anticipation mechanisms, the adaptation of education programs and the establishment and development of workplace learning systems, including dual learning systems and apprenticeship programs, POCU/829/6/13/142048.

The project had as its general objective the implementation of an integrated program of information and entrepreneurial training that led to the increase of the degree of employment and the entrepreneurial culture of university and non-university tertiary education graduates in the counties of the West region, through the creation and development of businesses in economic sectors with competitive potential and in areas of smart specialization.

The project was carried out within the following financial parameters:

• Total value of the project: 9.674.627,49 lei
• Non-refundable eligible value from ERDF/FC/FSE/ILMT: 8.223.433,37 lei
• Non-refundable eligible value from the national budget: 1.383.632,57 lei
• The amount of eligible co-financing of the Beneficiary: 67.561,55 lei

Among the main results of the project we list:

• Informing 461 people about the business plans supported within the project and the activities carried out. 23827 visitors to the project web page, https://vta.innotech.projects.uvt.ro.
• Registration of 461 students, PhD students and/or trainees, future graduates of higher education, in the target group of the project.
• Running an entrepreneurial training program for 459 people selected in the project's target group.
• Completion of the entrepreneurship training program by 391 members of the target group. Graduates received diplomas accredited by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the Ministry of Education.
• Selection of 24 business plans for the establishment and development of enterprises in the competitive sectors identified through the SNC and/or in the fields and subfields of smart development and health identified through the SNCDI.
• Development of skills in the use of simulated enterprises among 24 beneficiaries.
• Participation in internships of 24 participants whose business plans were selected for funding.
• Providing personalized advisory/consulting/mentoring services to 24 beneficiaries whose business plans were selected for funding.
• Establishment of 24 enterprises through the project.
• The granting of subsidies in the amount of a maximum of 273.763,00 lei for 24 enterprises.
• Creation of 72 jobs within the enterprises established by the project.
• Developing an entrepreneurial network to foster sustainable entrepreneurial skills
• Carrying out a preliminary study and an impact study of entrepreneurship at the level of the Western Region.
• The conclusion of 36 partnerships with companies in competitive sectors or considering the fields and subfields of smart development and health identified through SNCDI.
• Conducting 4 Workshops dedicated to stimulating entrepreneurial skills.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the closing conference of the project, which will take place, on Wednesday, 20.12.2023, between 9:00 and 10:30, in the A01 amphitheater of the main building of the West University of Timișoara (bd. Vasile Pârvan no. 4). During the event, the main results of the project will be presented, the impact it had in the years of implementation, the results of the preliminary and impact study on the entrepreneurial environment in the Western region, as well as the project's contribution to the creation and development of businesses in economic sectors with potential competitive and in areas of smart specialization.
