On Monday, September 12, 2022, during an event organized at the Western University of Timișoara, the Collaboration Protocol between UVT and SCM Ohma Timișoara was signed.

The press conference was attended by the Rector of UVT, prof. univ. dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, UVT Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mădălin Octavian Bunoiu, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport from UVT, conf. univ. dr. Adrian Nagel, Mrs. Alina Botezatu (director of SCM Timișoara), Mr. Dragan Petricevic (coach of SCM Ohma Timișoara), Mr. Sorin Șipos (president of the Board of Directors of SCM Timișoara) and Mr. Dusan Willms (Ohma representative).

The partnership between the Western University of Timișoara and SCM Ohma Timișoara aims at active cooperation, in order to support and promote each other through sport and education.

Through the collaboration established between UVT and SCM Ohma Timișoara, the parties will contribute to the promotion of sport as a lifestyle and health education among students, as well as for the entire local community. It is also aimed at supporting performance sports for senior and junior basketball and 3×3 basketball teams. In the future, the aim is to expand the area of ​​collaboration, promotion on a national and international level, but also active cooperation with representatives of the economic, social and institutional environment, by organizing joint actions and events.
