The European Commission, through the Directorate General for the Environment, has selected the West University of Timișoara as a partner for the EU Green Week 2021 series of events.

The fourth edition of the "Green Week in UVT" event will thus bear the insignia of the EU Green Week 2021 program, also benefiting from promotion on the official page of the European Green Week.

"UVT Green Week - Circular Economy in a European Context" will take place during the period 31 May – 4 June 2021 - and the central theme of this year's event will be the circular economy, a concept for which, at the European level, an action plan has been established.

Within the UVT there is a working group dedicated to the theme of the circular economy, a group that collaborates both with regional and national partners, as well as with partners from Alliances of European Universities.
