After a resounding success at the first edition in May, we are pleased to invite you to the second performance of the show "The Balcoolaur and the Gladiators". On September 30, at 20:00, Piața Sf. Gheorghe in Timișoara will once again host the street poetry performance, inspired by the volume Contents: Cenaclul Pavel Dan, an anthology signed by Eugen Bunaru.
The performers of this show are the talented Bogdan Spiridon and a group of 13 student-actors. Light design: Florian Putere. Sound design: Sebastian Hamburger. Costume concept: Gabriela Strugari. Script and artistic direction: Sabin Popescu.
This event has an interdisciplinary character, being a collaboration between the Faculty of Music and Theater and the Faculty of Letters, together with theater specialists. The longest-running literary cenacle in the country, the "Pavel Dan" cenacle, is also involved.
The event is part of the cultural program "At UVT, Culture is Capital!", included in the Cultural Program "Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture", Oameni territory, Reflectiţi station, financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center, co-financed by the Timiș County Council , through the TimCultura 2023 program.
