#Staysafecontribution

The pandemic period has led to many restrictions, but at the same time to many wonderful gestures. That's why the project #Staysafecontribution held through the Center for Research and Creation in Decorative Arts and Design is worth remembering. Located in the localities where they come from, the volunteer students of the 1st year Fashion-Clothing Design group each individually made 50 masks which they donated to various people or institutions such as the Home for the elderly in Jimbolia, the County Office by Post Timiș, Farmaciei Biofarma, Bihor county, employees of commercial companies from Timișoara, Liebling, Arad, Cornea commune - Caraș-Severin county, Cotnari from Iași county. The skills acquired in the first semester of college and the online continuation of the educational process within the applied courses allowed them to make some accessories by themselves that until now we considered exclusively medical, but which in the coming period will certainly become mandatory clothing items. The project coordinators, university professor Dr. Andreea Palade Flondor, university lecturer. Dr. Eugenia Reimschneider and assistant. assoc. Dr. Andreea Pleșa together with the students Patricia Airinei, Maya Gruici, Oana Naslău, Raul Pașcalău, Andrada Petrariu, Mălina Popa, Mara Popa, Andrada Roșu are happy to share this common experience of creation, generosity and civic responsibility.

Every gesture counts and every crisis can be considered an opportunity to create, to reinvent ourselves, to communicate with each other, to help, to understand. The team of this project believes that great things are made of small gestures and that excellence is built on generosity. #Staysafecontribution it means we care, it means we don't wait for solutions, we offer them.
