Science and technology and how they can help us build our future are the topics of a new conference, where we will have invited Alexandru Mironov, an expert in the field of technology and innovation, who will provide a unique perspective on discussion topics.
The event "Science and jobs of the future" is part of the "Connect to the future" series and will take place on April 7, in the Aula Magna, at 18:30 p.m.
Alexandru Mironov was Minister of Youth and Sports (1993-1996) and Secretary General of the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO (2000-2008). He popularized science and the "science fiction" genre through the show "Science and Imagination", presented together with Mihai Bădescu, in the first part of the 90s. Alexandru Mironov published 16 volumes and wrote approximately 1.000 articles popularizing science.
The event is part of the cultural program "At UVT, Culture is Capital", included in the Cultural Program "Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture", Oameni territory, Reflectiţi station, financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center and the Timiș County Council.
