"În Bine" magazine is a project carried out exclusively by volunteer students from the Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences, which aims to promote initiatives that transform society into a better place. Like the pieces of a puzzle, the magazine wants to "join" these initiatives to form a community around the desire to participate and be involved in the transformation of the world around us. Participating students fulfill all the roles related to the operation of a magazine editorial office (reporter, editor, responsible for online promotion, etc.), thus making a useful practice for future careers in the field of communication, but also motivating and inspiring readers to get involved civically in the same time.
The editorial project consists of the website inbine.ro, on which articles written by students about people, projects, organizations and initiatives that have an impact in the community are periodically posted, as well as a Facebook and Instagram page with content directed in the same direction. In addition, the most extensive journalistic materials are collected every six months in the printed version of "În Bine" Magazine, whose last issue just appeared in May.
Lorena Păcurar, student in Journalism and editor-in-chief of "In Bine" Magazine, says about this issue that it is centered on the protagonists of social impact projects: a cinematic art project made by teenagers, the portrait of two important characters from the Timisoara world of cultural PR and social entrepreneurship: Oltea Zambori and Roxana Damaschin -Țecu, as well as a review of two well-known independent journalism projects. The magazine also proposes the illustration of solutions to the problem of the crisis in education, especially during the pandemic: the presentation of a project that supports children from disadvantaged areas and an association that works to make the voice of abandoned children heard.
