UVT students are invited to the webinar "Emotional Intelligence - Communicate with your emotions"

Team The Center for Counseling and Career Guidance (CCOC) from UVT invites UVT students to the webinar "Emotional intelligence - communicate with your emotions", which will take place on November 26 2021, starting with at 14:40, on the platform Google Meet.

CCOC-UVT issue students an invitation to self-knowledge via emotional intelligence, a concept developed by Peter Salovey and John D. Mayer and described as a form of social intelligence. It was popularized by Daniel Goleman's book, Emotional Intelligence, and is now seen as one of the skills needed in the job market of the future.

Emotional intelligence is built around two instances, us and the others – us, through identifying, understanding and managing one's emotions and the others, by identifying and understanding the emotions of the people we interact with.

Therefore, CCOC advisors I want, through this webinar, to help students take the first step in understanding their own emotions.

Students attending this webinar will learn more about:

  • How to identify their emotions;
  • What are their emotions trying to communicate;
  • How to better manage their emotions.

Registration is done by completing TO THIS FORM.
