Almost 170 staff members have attended the first edition of the Fortnight of Languages organized at the Université Savoie Mont Blanc! A dozen teachers from the UNITA alliance participated in this event, dedicated to languages and to intercomprehension. Two rich weeks of intercultural exchange and learning for all the participants!

From June 21 to July 3, the Language Fortnight brought together nearly 170 staff from the University of Savoie Mont Blanc (USMB) and its partner universities for language courses. A week rich in learning and intercultural exchanges for the ensemble of participants and participants.
LES LANGUES VIVANTES À L'HONNEUR
C'est en présentiel, sur le campus de Jacob-Bellecombette, que les 168 inscrits ont pu suivre des cours de langues. Avec une principale nouveauté cette année : en passant d'une « semaine de Français Langues Étrangères (FLE)» à « quinzaine des langues », l'événement sest ouvert à de nouvelles langues et à un plus larger public.
Des formations d'anglais, d'espagnol, d'italien, d'intercompréhension en langues romanes ou encore pour les formateurs en anglais sont s'ajouter à celle de Français Langue Étrangère.
UNE SEMAINE D'ÉCHANGE POUR DES GROUPES MULTICULTURELS ET PLURIDISCIPLINAIRES
Malgré le contexte sanitaire, près d'un tiers (50) des participants et participants sont venus de l'étranger, avec no moins de quinze européens countries represented! À note the presence, parmi les participants et participants, of 12 personnes provenant d'universités membres de l'alliance UNITA dont l'USMB fait partie.
Au-delà de leur pays d'origine, le profil des inscrits était varié puisque'il s'agitai aussi bien d'enseignantes-chercheuses et enseignants-chercheurs que de personnels administratifs et techniques. Autant de données qui illustrent la diversity de l'audience et répondent à l'objectif de proposer une training s'addressant à un maximum de profils universitaires.
The program, centered around the learning of languages, was also punctuated by moments of sharing and discovery: visits from Annecy, hiking in the Bauges massif, or even the possibility to return to Chamonix and Aiguille du midi!
What nouveau format from the Quinzaine des langues has given rise to a strong engouement et vise à être pérennisé.
