Thursday, October 13, starting with at 19:00, in Attic of the Faculty of Arts and Design, as part of the Timișoara Ideas Fest, there will be a new event dedicated to music, especially that of the past. Beloved Bogdan Simion comes to Timișoara for an evening of dialogue, accompanied by musical chords. The event will be moderated by Alex Condrache.

       Bogdan Simion is a young cobzar from Romania, doctor of letters, writer, actor, traditional music collector and fiddler. He was one of Gheorghe Zamfir's disciples and was part of well-known ensembles of the country's biggest musical names. On the occasion of the first edition of Timișoara Ideas Fest, our guest will come to share with us his passion for music.

           About the event, the rector of the West University of Timișoara, Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, said: "We are happy to have with us at the Western University of Timișoara models of young workers who cultivate their passion and carry forward traditional music. I am confident that the dialogue that will take place in the Attic of the Faculty of Arts and Design will be a tasty and meaningful one."

          This event is part of the "Timișoara 2023 - European Capital of Culture" Cultural Program, Oameni territory, Reflectiţii station, is financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center, co-financed by the Timiș County Council.
