On September 26 it is called "Home” in the fourth edition UVT Liberty Marathon. The competition, which wants to put Timișoara on the road marathon map, aims to bring together experienced runners, but also people who are new to running. From 2 to 42 kilometers there is a race for everyone.

Community and movement are the keywords of the event, so the challenge in 2021 is that every participant can meet their better version, regardless of their chosen race. The UVT Liberty Marathon proposes that the only opponent is oneself, and that the joy of the experience surpasses that of winning.

At the fourth edition of the competition, the medal is signed by Andreea Răducan, Olympic champion and multiple world champion. Thus, the tradition is preserved and the runners' collection of medals with the signatures of the Olympic champions is enriched.

The competition has received the approval to be able to organize both timed and popular races in a physical format. Thus, UVT Liberty Marathon 2021 promises to be an edition full of color and energy, with moments dedicated to the community of runners, but also to the general public.

The organizers announce that this year registrations close on September 15, so that, until September 26, the remaining time allows a good preparation of the competition in the context of the pandemic, as well as a good organization of the activities that will make the fourth edition of UVT An unforgettable Liberty Marathon for all those who choose to be present.
