The West University of Timișoara is proud of the second title of university national champion, in team sports, one week after the joy that football gave us!

Now, the volleyball players from CSU UVT won the final with the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, score 2-0 (25-19, 25-20). In the tournament hosted by the UVT gyms in Timișoara, the hosts won each time in a minimum of sets and offered spectacular moments to those who came to see them. Today's victory gives the players trained by Sorin Schiesz and Eric Reitmayer the chance to go to a new edition of the European University Championship, this time in Braga (Portugal). The winning team consists of Iustin Agachi, Lucian Bădiceanu, Denis Boldiș, Darius Câmpean, Emanuel Drăgan, Leonard Gologăneanu, Sebastian Micu, Dorin Moraru, Alexandru Moroșan, Radu Nucă, Rareș Preda and Sergiu Rodină.

The trophy was handed to the winners by the rector of the Western University of Timișoara, prof. Dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea.
