The Western University of Timișoara is constantly developing new projects that are part of an agenda for student entrepreneurship, a concern that has become a priority and that can be found in a series of strategic actions. Moreover, this concern was also emphasized in the prestigious report developed under the auspices of the OECD and the European Commission, carried out by HEInnovate under the title "Supporting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Higher Education in Romania 2019".
One of the most important institutional constructions through which this strategy is implemented is Student Entrepreneurial Society (SAS UVT), an innovative format for promoting student entrepreneurial culture. The launch event took place within this entrepreneurial training mechanism #UStart Academy brand SAS UVT, a first project of the club Entrepreneur in Timisoara, during which the students' projects and initiatives were presented. During the event, the students' ideas were analyzed by the jury made up of Timisoara's top entrepreneurs, and the students received constructive and personalized feedback for their ideas.
The new jury of #UStart – Entrepreneurship and Innovation Academy, which evaluated the student projects, is made up of representatives of UVT Strategic Partners Group and SAS. I am part of this jury:
· Adrian Bădescu, founder and CEO of Clinicor Medici's Timișoara, coordinator of Think Tank Entrepreneurship within GPS-UVT
· Darius Jumanca, CEO and partner Metaltim SA, member of GPS-UVT
· Mircea Stoian, Gauss General Manager, member of GPS-UVT
