UVT informs the community about current topics in the field of academic development through the "Bulletin of the Academic Development Center (BCDA)"

Starting this year, the Academic Development Center (CDA) organized within the Western University of Timișoara has designed a flow of current news and information, a selection of articles considered relevant to the scientific development interests of members of the university community.

The "Bulletin of the Center for Academic Development (BCDA)", which is in its eighth edition in December 2021, includes in this issue presentations of the various opportunities for training, documentation and exchange of good practices that CDA has offered in the last two years the academic community from UVT and from four other universities in the country. Detailed information is provided on the content and impact of these training opportunity packages. This edition also includes an invitation to enroll in training workshops, training tools that will be designed in accordance with the individual way of conceptualizing the university teaching activity of each participant. The preamble of the articles in this issue of BCDA is outlined by the latest article of the CDA team, which analyzes the answers of 705 Romanian university students regarding their own ways of approaching the university teaching process.

From the summary of the current issue of BCDA (which can be consulted at this web address) we remember:

  • Preamble - what 705 Romanian academics tell us about how they approach the teaching process
  • Long-term CDA programs and their impact in the community
  • Non-formal training activities organized by CDA
  • CDA Guidelines in Support of Student-Centered Education
  • Invitation to the CDA workshop, a new concept of pedagogical workshop
