For a month, between September 27 and October 27, sports enthusiasts ran in the third UVT Liberty Marathon.

As a manifesto of the choices that give us freedom, representative of a healthy lifestyle, the event was addressed to a wide audience, including both beginner runners of different ages and experienced runners. From 2 to 42 kilometers, each athlete had the opportunity to choose the right challenge for him.

Each year, the UVT Liberty Marathon encourages the community to live a responsible lifestyle. The 2020 edition brought an extra care towards the environment, offering the participation kits through an ecological service, in R-CREATE recyclable packaging. The system has brought an environment-friendly packaging solution of type packaging-as-a-service, created especially for online merchants, through which the single-use packaging related to deliveries is replaced by a returnable and reusable packaging, under safe conditions of hygiene and disinfection.

Also, in order for the entire system to respond to the values ​​of the UVT Liberty Marathon, this year, two partners were chosen for delivery: Ciclocourier – fast bicycle courier, a delivery service whose mission is a package circuit that is both environmentally friendly and and with the parts that set it in motion, namely the GLS.

The UVT Liberty Marathon campaigns for cleaner air for all runners who choose to exercise and supports projects that encourage sustainable development and responsible behaviors.
