UVT/LIT KOMPASS – first journalistic project of German studies students

The activity of a team made up of first-year students from the German language specialization, within the Modern Applied Languages ​​and Languages ​​and Literatures programs has recently materialized in a first issue of the online student newspaper in German, in PDF format, which can be distributed via e -mail – "UVT/LIT KOMPASS".

The newspaper, with a structure that includes columns dedicated to academic life, LIT-UVT graduates in the field of German studies, activities in the pre-university environment with relevance for this field and projects carried out by LIT-UVT in collaboration with students and teachers in German language secondary education, such as and topics of interest in the German-speaking area, will continue to appear at least twice a semester and is permanently accessible on its Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Lit-Kompass-104303028483209/

An important contribution to the materialization of the journalistic project, initiated by the university lecturer. Dr. Karla Lupșan and students Nesia Murariu and Paula Scoroșanu-Savu, had it: university lecturer. Dr. Mihaela Șandor, Mr. Siegfried Thiel, editor-in-chief of the "Banater Zeitung" publication, Mrs. Enkeloeda Eickhoff, cultural manager of the Institute of Foreign Relations (ifa - Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) and Mr. Ionuț Budașcu, deputy editor-in-chief of the daily in the language German "Allgemeine Deutsche Zeitung für Rumänien".

Colleagues from the German-language press in Romania, together with ifa and the Association of German-speaking journalists from South-Eastern Europe – FunkForum, support both the appearance and the promotion of the student newspaper. The daily newspaper "Allgemeine Deutsche Zeitung für Rumänien", based in Bucharest, deals with the pagination of the student newspaper, and "Banater Zeitung", based in Timișoara, introduced the Campus section from April 2021, where it regularly publishes a page of the UVT newspaper /LIT COMPASS.
