UVT participates in a new project to stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship

"INNOUNITA - Development of Innovation Capacity in UNITA", the new project in which UVT will be involved is organized with an emphasis on the sustainability of the results by creating a smart and creative network of young innovators, coming from high schools or even start-ups, continuing with research, development and innovation activities. At the same time, the project will represent an opportunity to familiarize participants and active innovators with the program portfolios of the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities.

The initiative aims to encourage institutional change through the development of digital infrastructure and the improvement of technology transfer offices, to strengthen partnerships through an improved network of mutual learning and collaboration with EIT KIC, to contribute to the development of innovations and businesses, creating conditions for community members to develop businesses and start-ups, and to increase the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education through innovation and entrepreneurship training programs and mentoring schemes for staff and students.

The project will receive funding from EIT's IÎS initiative: Strengthening innovation capacity for higher education. This new initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) aims to boost the entrepreneurial and innovation capacity of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

Within this project, UVT will collaborate with:

· UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI TORINO (Italy) – project coordinator

· UNIVERSIDADE BEIRA INTERIOR (Portugal)

· UNIVERSIDAD DE ZARAGOZA (Spain)

· UNIVERSITÉ DE PAU ET DES PAYS DE L'ADOUR (France)

· UNIVERSITÉ SAVOIE MONT BLANC (France)
