The Western University of Timișoara hosted on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, the launch of the national information campaign "Vaccination and Testing for Learning", coordinated by the MEN and organized by the Timiș County School Inspectorate.
Its basic principle is that education teaches you to protect yourself from unfounded opinions, prejudices, fake news and manipulation. At the same time, it supports the resumption of learning under normal conditions, emphasizing the importance of returning to school as soon as the epidemiological evolution allows, with the application of safety measures in schools, kindergartens and universities.
The rector of UVT, prof. univ. took part in the launch event. Dr. Marilen Gabriel Pirtea, the Secretary of State for Pre-University Education within the Ministry of Education, Professor Sorin Ion, the General School Inspector of ISJ Timiș, Professor Marin Popescu, with whom were the Manager of the "Victor Babeș" hospital in Timișoara, the doctor Cristian Oancea and the Executive Director DSP Timiș, Dr. Flavius Cioca.
