Faculty of Political Sciences, Philosophy and Communication Sciences participated with a team of three students in the PR Arena national competition, the XNUMXrd edition. Organized by the University of Bucharest, it brought together bachelor's and master's students in the field of Communication from six university centers of the country. Each team of students selected to participate was assigned a mentor - specialist practicing in an important company or representative agency in the field of Communication. Alongside this, the students worked on creating a campaign, starting from a brief provided on the day of the competition, practicing offering creative and effective communication solutions, presented in a persuasive and professional manner, adapted to the social, cultural and economic context.
"PR arena was the competition that, in a way, opened our eyes, both to me and to my colleagues", says Snejana Vodă, a student at Communication and public relations and participant in the event from UVT. "It was hard? Yes! It was two tough days where we had to come up with a good idea and build around it against the clock. Deserved? Yes Yes Yes! I met a lot of people from whom I had to learn and at the same time we saw ourselves in moments of stress, we learned how to control our emotions and how to move on," she adds.
Participation in the XNUMXrd edition of PR Arena was "not only a competition, but also a lesson, which will help me enormously in what I want to do after college", also testifies Alexandru Hunyadi, Snejana Vodă's teammate. At the same time, the event was an opportunity to practice teamwork, to "be surrounded by people passionate about Communication and work with professionals who have experience in the field", says Marinela Scrob, the third participant from UVT, student at the master's degree at Mass-media and Public Relations.
