The team of the Career Counseling and Guidance Center (CCOC) at the University of West Timișoara invites students from all over the country to a series of webinars dedicated to personal and professional development.
The webinars in this program will be held lunar, on the third Thursday of every month. The topics addressed within them have a logical and coherent sequence necessary for an optimal integration of the information presented. Thus, the team CCOC-UVT aims to offer students support in the process of personal knowledge, valorization of personal resources, but also understanding of the educational process.
At the same time, UVT wants to help students to successfully manage the learning process, the Baccalaureate exam, the entrance exam to the desired study program and to choose responsibly and informed the future path of studies, career.
The first webinar from this training program took place on 17.12.2020, starting at 17:00, on the Zoom platform, with the theme Self-knowledge and personal development.
In general, the question "Who am I?" is one of the great dilemmas of existence, and the process of searching for the answer is a complex and continuous one. Why should we know each other? Because both in knowing the "other" and the world, the first step is self-knowledge. Often, what happens in the outer world reflects our inner states: if there is peace in our soul, the world outside is wonderful, if we are troubled, agitated, disoriented - that's how the world around us looks.
Therefore, this webinar aimed to answer participants' questions such as:
- What are my qualities, values and resources?
- How can I use my resources in an optimal way?
The following themes that the team CCOC-UVT offers them through webinars will be:
- Personal confidence and self-esteem
- Personal beliefs and how they influence our decisions
Starting from January 2021, UVT offers students a complex training program. In addition to the webinars dedicated to their personal development, an online preparation program for the Baccalaureate exam will also be initiated, for each discipline, as well as a series of competitions dedicated to students, in all fields of study at UVT.
UVT also makes available to students YTM platform, through which they can complete psychovocational orientation tests for free, with the aim of supporting them in the process of choosing their future educational path. After passing these tests, any student can request a counseling session with one of the CCOC-UVT counselors, via an e-mail to ccoc@e-uvt.ro.
