Sports weekend at UVT: the "Handball ca la carte" tournament

The CSU West University of Timișoara and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport - UVT are organizing this weekend the "Handball as a la carte" tournament, with two components:

On Saturday, June 4, a methodical activity will take place, coordinated by the university associate lecturer. dr. Eugen Bota and intended for coaches and teachers of physical education and sports. The topics discussed will be the following:
– Preparing the training lesson
– Physical training integrated in the technique of the handball game for children
With the help of 3 lecturers, 10 coaches will participate in a training activity on the theme "handball training for children", which includes information on physical training for children, training preparation and refereeing concepts.

 
On Sunday, June 5, the women's minihandball tournament for girls' teams born in 2011 and younger will take place in the UVT Sports Hall, with the participation of approx. 240 children.

On the same day, there will be a tribute moment during which the UVT Sports Hall will be renamed the Constantin Lache Hall, in honor of the emeritus coach, eight-time winner of the national women's handball championship and finalist of the European Champions Cup with the Timișoara University team.

The event is part of the UVT University Sport – Active in Competitions and Community program, financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center.
