In 2022, the Western University of Timișoara adhered to the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.

In order to apply the 40 principles of the Charter, respectively of the European Code of Researchers, UVT started the implementation process of "HR Strategy for Researchers – HRS4R”, based on the constant evaluation of the application of these 40 principles.

Currently, UVT is in the process of implementing HRS4R, aiming at the completion of the process to obtain the "HR Excellence in Research Award" certification from the European Commission. This certification is a recognition of progress towards the 40 principles, as well as a commitment to continued alignment with European standards of good practice.
