Doctor Honoris Causa Scientiarum

Jean-Pierre Sauvage is known not only for his work, for which he received the Nobel Prize. For example, together with Jean-Marie Lehn, he initiated, during the oil crisis of 1973, a project aimed at obtaining hydrogen from water and solar energy. Using compounds of ruthenium and rhodium, he made major advances in this field.
