Doctor Honoris Causa Artis

Victor Ieronim STOICHIȚ is one of the most important contemporary art historians and theorists, with a remarkable international career, confirmed by his numerous books, published in European and universal languages ​​(English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and - not in last row – Romanian), as well as an exceptional academic dimension. His intellectual formation was marked by his undergraduate studies, started in Bucharest and continued in Rome (1968-1973), under the guidance of Cesare Brandi. In 1989, that is, at the age of 30, he obtained the title of doctor in Paris (Doctorat d'état ès Lettres).
