Doctor Honoris Causa Socialium Scientiarum

A psychology graduate of the University of Tulsa in 1979, he continued his education with a master's degree in social work at the University of Oklahoma and a doctorate in sociology in 1987 at the same university. A follower of continuing education, he perfected himself in the prevention of alcoholism and drug use, becoming a certified counselor in 1987, then an independent supervisor in social work in 1992. His professional journey continues with the recognition of his clinical skills by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (1998).
