Doctor Honoris Causa BENEFICIORUM PUBLICORUM

Mr. Romano Prodi was born in 1939, in Scandiano (Reggio Emilia). After graduating from the Ariosto Classical High School in Reggio Emilia, he studied at the Catholic University of Milan, from which he graduated in 1961, obtaining the CUM LAUDE qualification in law, with a thesis on protectionism in the development of Italian industry with Prof. Siro Lombardini, continuing and specialization at the London School of Economics, under the supervision of Prof. Basil Yamey, Professor of Industrial Economics.
