Student camps

The Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities (MFTES), through the Student Culture Houses and the "Tei" Student Sports Cultural Complex, organizes 5-day camps during the student holidays, which take place in the mountains, at the sea and in the Danube Delta, in the evenings.

Students benefiting from camp places must be enrolled in bachelor's, master's or doctorate university study programs, the form of full-time education, regardless of the form of financing, be up to 35 years old and fall into one of the following categories:
  1. social cases – students orphaned by both parents, those from orphanages or foster care, those of Roma ethnicity or graduates of rural high schools and those who benefit from social grants, these categories representing at least 20% of the places allocated at the level of UVT;
  2. students with outstanding academic results in the previous academic year or who had activities in an organized framework, of universities, at various cultural, artistic, scientific, sports and voluntary events, integralists (who passed the exams in all compulsory study subjects and electives from the previous academic year, and in the case of students from the 1st year of the cycle of undergraduate and master's studies, students who are full-time students in the XNUMXst semester of the current academic year).

Requests for a camp site during the winter period are submitted during the period 20-January 28 2024, by completing TO THIS FORM or by completing and sending a standard application to the address tabere@e-uvt.ro (according to the available model HERE), using the institutional e-mail address @e-uvt.ro, or in physical format at the UVT Student Info Center (filling in the same application form). Only requests sent from the institutional address (…@e-uvt.ro) will be considered, and they will be accompanied by supporting documents attesting to the involvement in extracurricular activities or the placement of the student in one of the social cases. The supporting documents for social cases are similar to those submitted for the granting of social grants, and if the student is a beneficiary of a social grant within the UVT, during the registration process for a camp place, he will no longer submit supporting documents of his social situation.

During the camps, students benefit FREE OF CHARGE accommodation and meals.

The score will be calculated according to article 2 of The methodology for distributing places in the student camps at the West University of Timișoara.
