Distance Education (ID)
- is characterized by the use of specific electronic, IT and communication resources, self-learning and self-assessment activities complemented by specific tutoring activities;
- it involves replacing teaching hours with self-study activities and periodic meetings, conducting seminars through a tutorial system and, necessarily, conducting all didactic activities that develop skills and practical skills in a face-to-face system.
Part-time education (IFR)
- it is characterized by activities dedicated mainly to synthesis courses and applied training, programmed in a compact and periodic way, assuming the direct meeting, in the university space, of students with teaching staff, supplemented by other means of training specific to distance education;
- involves the replacement of teaching hours with self-study activities and the holding of periodic meetings, usually weekly, with the students/trainees to carry out the mandatory application activities provided in the education plans.
The framework for organizing study programs in distance and part-time forms of education (ID/IFR)
- they can only be organized at accredited or provisionally authorized university study programs in the form of full-time education (IF);
- the subject structure of the education plan is identical to that of the full-time education form;
- the programming of the subjects in the curriculum for the forms of distance and reduced-frequency education (ID/IFR) is done according to the duration of schooling in full-time education (IF).

- person-centered training;
- the use of specific electronic, IT and communication resources;
- self-learning and self-assessment activities;
- specific tutoring activities.
