History

La Francophonie is an international movement whose goal is to build a space of solidarity founded on the principles of humanism, democracy and respect for the diversity of cultures and languages, ayant le français comme vector d'échanges interculturalls, de développement et de construction de la paix.

REPERES SUR L'HISTOIRE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE


La Francophonie à l'échelle internationale began as an associative structuring in the 1960s, after the disappearance of the Communauté française (1958-1960). The first notable initiatives on the political level are the conferences of French-speaking ministers: first on National Education in 1960 (CONFENEM), then on Jeunesse et des Sports in 1969 (CONFEJEM).
