UNITY Campus

The UNITA inter-university campus, digital and physical, represents the environment in which the activities and integration of six partner institutions will be implemented, an integration that will take place gradually. The online environment, step by step, will become the single point of entry to the campus for UNITA students and anyone interested in UNITA activities.

All specific software made and reused from resources shared by partners will be of type open-source, and the data exchange will be done in accordance with the GDPR. All the activities in the work package of the project dedicated to the inter-university campus contribute to the development of a feeling of belonging to UNITA and strengthening the UNITA community. The specific objectives of the creation of the UNITA inter-university campus are:

• Ensuring greater flexibility in the learning experience and eliminating geographical barriers.
• Promoting collaborative learning and real-time interaction between teachers and students.
• Access to online resources open source.
• Supporting the creation of communities of students, teaching staff or administrative staff on various topics and in various fields.
• Stimulating student mobility and exchanges.
• Increasing the social dimension of the college campus experience.

   

In the long term, the platform will support everything more services and will allow students to register in the UNITA community. The mapping of the study programs in the three pillar areas of the project will gradually expand to include other areas, so as to facilitate full access to information about the study opportunities provided within the UNITA consortium.

Also, other databases will be gradually added to the UNITA campus virtual platform. For example, the joint offer regarding all opportunities for mobility offered by UNITA's partners, the offer of training courses (practice for students and training for teaching staff). Thus, relations with the socio-economic environment will develop. Moreover, the community of alumni from the national level, from the five countries, but also from the international level, will be activated, in order to create a "brain map" of UNITA alumni.
