‘I liked the part about audio description the most, I found the film that was shown interesting because of how the descriptions were written for the visually impaired. I thought it was fairly easy to imagine what the voice actor was describing, although a bit overwhelming when there was a lot of information given in a short time.’ – Adelina Botyan
‘It felt like telling a story next to a bonfire. Most enjoyable was perhaps the “end product” we got to listen to at the end and well, the state of the art technology that we were able to use.’- Marius Pârv
‘The most interesting information was about the workflow of the live subtitling.’ – Adina Scafariu
‘The most interesting part was to find out that there are so many different departments in the field of subtitling. I enjoyed the most the presentation on audio description and also the presentation of the project coordination department.’ – Daria Nadreea Jugan
‘It was interesting to hear about the differences in subtitling among countries (e.g. shorter lines for Scandinavian countries) and various software they use (Sfera, Fuzion). It was surprising to hear about the many quality checks and steps in order to obtain the final product.’ – Andreea Ghimpău
‘The most interesting aspect to me was how a translation project is managed and what responsibilities each department has while collaboratig with each other. I was surprised to find out that so many departments are needed for a project in order to deliver a good translation.’ – Marisa Ranta
‘The most interesting part of the presentation was the separation of the workload in different teams and their coordination as well as the work cycles and their steps. Another part that was interesting the way the insight into how the apps worked.’ – Alexandra Inașel
‘It was like reading an audiobook. Some segments were challenging when the pace was faster. It was interesting to see what information is rendered in an audio description.’- Diana Florescu
‘You will have to be more involved with the tone and emotion on VO, while on AD you had to be neutral, natural and linear.’ – Roberto Busoi
‘As a director, the challenge was to be able to make the voice actor understand what you were looking for in the tone of the line and to help the actor understand that it should be neutral. Because the tendency is to act, to render emotions.’- Rebeca Boboc
